Pete Denahy

Pete Denahy is the man responsible for the teenager song, “Sort of Dunno Nothin’” which has been played on Spicks and Specks, Rage, Today and The Morning Show. The clip of the song has had well over a million hits on youtube.

This year he won a Golden Guitar at Tamworth for songwriting, a first that was much celebrated on returning to his home town of Yackandandah. The local celebrations even went as far as the Star Hotel naming a parmigana in Pete’s honour. If you go to this pub on their parmi night (Sunday) you can order yourself a “Golden Pete”. Denahy himself is a big fan of his own parmi.
“It’s bloody delicious,” he said.

An accomplished fiddle player and singer, much of Pete’s act is comedy and often contains “fly by the seat of your pants” nonsense that brings laughter to crowds of all ages. He has toured all over Australia with different shows and his current show features material from his hilarious new dvd “All You Can Eat”.
