Take a walk with Colin Buchanan along just about any street in Australia and it’s only a matter of time before you’ll hear an excited young voice cry, “Hi Colin!”.

Since 1993, first on ABC TV’s Play School and then on the 7 Network/Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney, Colin has been solidly ensconced as one of the most beloved (and recognisable) faces of Australian children’s television.

His happy, engaging and slightly mischievous persona has endeared him to a generation of young Australians – and their families. With his guitar (and often a suitable self-penned tune) ever at the ready, Colin’s exploits have seen him construct countless cardboard creations, read innumerable stories, discover the many wonders that lie “out and about” on location, with just enough time to cook up delicious goodies with his friends in the “Bite Size” kitchen.
